Start the spring of 2025 early by jetting off to Portugal and enjoying the warmer days on a motorcycle tour in the Algarve.
This is a fly-and-ride tour. We arrive in Faro to meet the group, pick up the bikes and spend 5 days enjoying the roads, the scenery and the local food.
The Algarve region is well known to any serious motorcyclist for a huge variety of riding, on and off-road. This is an on-road tour, mostly paved with different levels of tarmac quality with potentially some short sections of easy gravel roads.
Of course, there will be time for enjoying delicious food and good wine in the evenings as well as opportunities for a dip in the sea, visiting local points of interest and learning about the history of this part of the world.

DAY 1 – 2nd April
Arrival day – arrive in Faro and meet the rest of the group.
DAY 2 – 3rd April
Collect the bikes in the morning and go for a leisurely ride to get used to your ride and have time to set them up as required. Return to the same accommodation.
DAY 3 – 4th April
Pack and load the bikes and head north to explore the inland area all the way to Beja for an authentic visit to a town with a history dating back to the Bronze Age.
DAY 4 – 5th April
A full day of riding in the western direction towards the Atlantic Ocean coast and a stop in Sines, the birthplace of Vasco de Gamma as well as home to amazing coast and beaches.
DAY 5 – 6th April
Today we’ll be travelling south. The day will be a mix of roads hugging the rugged coastline with stunning beaches and exploring the inland area.
DAY 6 – 7th April
The last day of the tour, again a mix of coastal roads and mountain twisties before we head back to Faro and return the bikes.
DAY 7 – 8th April

Your tour price includes:
- 5 riding days with a tour guide
- 6x nights’ accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis for single occupancy (if you would like to share accommodation please let us know as the price for the second rider is reduced)
- Individual room per person (if you want to share let us know)
- Route plans and GPS coordinates to key stops
Not included in the price is your travel to and from Portugal, food (except breakfast), drinks, fuel, motorcycle hire, personal travel insurance and entrance fees to any visitor centres, castles, museums, etc.
