Maja is an adventurer at heart. From a young age, she was keen to explore her surroundings. In her teenage years, she cycled from her home country Slovenia, to Barcelona, in Spain. She also hitchhiked from Slovenia to Scandinavia and back exploring Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
The desire to travel and explore was always within her and that’s how she ended up living in the UK and in the last 20 years, in North Wales.
Whilst her motorcycling dream was postponed in favour of having a family, it never really waned. However, the travel bug was always present and when her son was 2 years old, the family embarked on an extended trip for 6 months that saw them visit Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong, to mention a few destinations.
Whenever possible, she took her son to a new destination to expand his and her horizons. Once Sam (her son) turned 17, Maja finally fulfilled her lifelong ambition of getting a motorcycle. Since then, she has covered many miles, riding all corners of the UK, Ireland, and Europe as well as extended trips in Tasmania and mainland Australia.
Her love for travel, people and motorcycling came together in 2019 in what is simply the perfect lifestyle for Maja. Setting up the motorcycle tour business is the obvious change of direction in her personal and business life.
Maja is at her happiest when on a motorcycle in great company exploring new destinations and sharing beautiful roads with others on her tours.
Her enthusiasm for adventure is infectious and you can rest assured you will meet like minded people when in her company.
Her ambition is to inspire others to be more adventurous, to step out of their safety bubble and find out the wonders of this beautiful world we live in, ideally on a motorcycle.
